We had a blast on The Circle Line field trip! We got to see and take selfies with many of the landmarks (Statue of Liberty, Freedom Tower, Empire State Building, United Nations Headquarters, etc) that we researched in class. Please share one interesting fact that you learned about any of the landmarks we saw on our trip.

I learned that the statue of liberty is 450,000 pounds.
On Circle Line I had so much fun! It was really awesome to hear and learn about all the cool landmarks. My favorite Landmark that we saw was the Statue of Liberty. It was really cool to see it that up close the Tour Guide was very nice and he was telling us all very cool and interesting facts!
A fact that I heard on the trip was that the Statue of Liberty’s torch was covered with 24k gold sheets.
I learned that you have to walk up 354 steps to get up to the statue of liberty!
On the circle line I had so much fun! The tour guide said a lot of cool things about the landmarks my favorite was the statue of liberty it was awesome to see up close it was so much fun to see all those amazing landmarks.
That was very fun trip because there was so much to see my favorite was the Statue of Liberty.

One cool fact that I learned is that the Empire State Building is 1,454ft from bottom to the tip.
I learned the tallest building in the world after the chrysler building was the empire state building.
I had a lot of fun on the circle line trip. I was really interested in the statue of liberty and one of the facts I learned was that the statue weighs about 450,000 pounds! I also remember learning that the Chrysler Building was the tallest building in the U.S.A from 1930 to 1931.
The trip was also very fun I loved being outside at the end of the boat
l learned that the statue of liberty was given by france also my favorite part was being on the outside part of the boat

I learned that every mayor of NYC has the privilage to live in the Gracie Mansion
