We are fortunate to have the historic DeWint House (built in the year 1700) so nearby. And we were doubly fortunate to have such good weather for our walk. After a brisk walk of a little over a mile, the children enjoyed a brief video explaining the house’s place in history. There were many artifacts to see in the museum and even more to see and learn in the DeWint House. This is what we saw:

Then, after a picnic snack and a birthday celebration, back we went to WOS. Thanks to all the parents who were able to join us – you made the trip possible and fun for everyone!
