This week (6/1) let’s explore Yellowstone National Park. Take any one of the virtual walking tours. Then scroll to the bottom of the website. Explore the Mud Volcano Trail. This week (5/18) let’s head back to Washington D.C. and visit all of the memorials – Virtual Field Trip – Washington, D.C. Can you find the memorial with nineteen life like statues? What is the name of this memorial? Find another war memorial and share details about it.
This week (5/11) let’s head to the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Check out all the exhibits at Museum View Virtual Tour: See “inside the Museum” in this virtual tour. I spent most of my tour at the Tyrannosaurus Rex exhibit. This Specimen 5027 has a birthmark because one of its bones was forced out of place during fossilization. What’s the name of that special bone? Post answer in comment section and let us know your favorite exhibit and why.
This week (5/4) let’s head to Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. The first Friday in May is dedicated to National Space Day. Experience the White House
This week (4/20) visit the Georgia Aquarium. You have the ability to watch live webcams, deep sea learning videos, and training shows. I just learned about a special animal named, Halo. Halo has teeth but does not use them to chew. It’s teeth appear dirty but that’s oil to keep them clean. See if you can find Halo and let me know which sea animal it is. Also, find a creature that you like and share a fun fact about it below.
This week (4/13) visit The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden. Every day there’s a live show at 3pm or feel free to explore the link and learn about anyone of those animals. Personally, I’m a big fan of Fiona. Can you find Fiona at the Cincinnati Zoo? She is also known as a “river horse” and weighs 1,300 pounds. I watched the live video and took the quiz at the end. Please find an animal you love and post what you learned.

I went there and at the Mud Volcano Trail, mostly you smell sulfur. I think it is also cool how Yellowstone is a volcano.
Thank you for sharing Ellery! Let me also share that the smell of sulfur is gross!
When I went to the Mud Volcano trail, I learned that one of its most awesome explosions was 640,000 years ago. The smell of Sulfur is, like you said, gross. I love learning about the volcano!
