- Presidents Day Project – Watch the new George Washington mini series on the History channel airing February 16, 17 and 18 at 8 pm. Write a detailed review using the Documentary Review Graphic Organizer.
- Black History Month Project –Watch the true story about two separate but equal elementary schools in Hillburn, New York (Ramapo/Suffern) — one white and one black elementary school. In the 1940s, Thurgood Marshall played an important role in this gripping story, 11 years before his well-known involvement in the Brown v. Board of Education case. The documentary was made in 2017 and played a pivotal role in the civil rights movement. Write a detailed review using the Documentary Review Graphic Organizer.
