      I have a lot of favorite colors. I love the color turquoise. Turquoise is actually like a bluish green and it reminds me of the ocean. I also love the color yellow because it reminds me of happy and sunny days.

    • Hmmm… My favorite indoor pet animal is a dog, but my favorite outside rainforest animal is probably a red eyed tree frog. Otherwise I would say panda bears, kangaroos, and puffins are also some favorites. I honestly never realized how many favorites I have.

    • Meetin Patricia Polacco was one of my favorite moments as a teacher. She was so interesting to listen to! She is also a wonderful storyteller! We will have to try to see her again if she comes back to Books and Greetings!! 🙂

    • Favorite animal? Hmm…usually I would say a dog (Yorkshire terrier to be specific), or a red eyed tree frog (love them!). But now that you say chinchilla, I do think they are super cute!

    • Haha Gianna! I do enjoy food as well. I have so many favorites – it is hard to choose from!

      Macaroni & cheese is a classic. Ice cream definitely. Chocolate chip cookies. But as for healthy foods- I love peas, spinach, bananas, strawberries and apples!

    • Hi Louie! Did you get the packet for the week or is that what you are missing?

      This Unit’s words follow the pattern of open syllables in multi syllabic words (re-lax, do-nate) and open syllable exceptions in multi syllabic words (a-dapt, A-fric-a).

    • This unit in Reading we are still focusing on Nonfiction. How to find out tricky words, how to write and read like mentor authors, and how to teach others about a specific topic! Pretty neat unit! 🙂

    • Soon soon soon… some of our units are:
      – looking at characters and how they change (do you think that is nonfiction or fiction??)
      – nonfiction lab reports
      – poetry

      And more! The units might not be in that order, but those are some of the future Reading units 🙂
