In this year of Italian study, students will further develop their communication skills with a greater emphasis on increasing their reading proficiency. New vocabulary will be introduced and reinforced through conversations, discussions, and reading assignments. Writing skills will be developed through guided composition, dialogue, letters and free responses. The cultural content of the course includes expansion and enrichment of the material introduced in Italian 1.
