RESPECTApril is blue.  Today our school dressed up in blue for respect.  Respect is this month’s Character Education word.  As a school community we are committed to treating others the way we would want to be treated.  Our assembly was packed with activities. Mrs. Kahn led the student body in the Respect Rap. Ms. Arietta’s students gave examples of how to show respect. We watched and discussed the powerful video, The Present. Mrs. Beglin introduced the “Thumb Story” activity. Mrs. King thanked everyone for wearing hats and donating dollars in honor of Mr. Doctor.  We ended the assembly with the distribution of awards for integrity by Mr. Jones and Mrs. King.  To find out more about April’s Assembly, please click HERE.
