Today, Cottage Lane held its monthly assembly. We distributed character education and word of the month awards. Then, we kicked off April’s Superpower, Perseverance! Students were inspired by William Kamkwamba’s story, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. And of course we had a special visit from our Superhero, Perseverance Phoenix and her flock! They reminded all of us the importance of persevering and overcoming obstacles.
