Hello,
I miss you all so much. I am writing from England where I’m having a lovely time catching up with everyone. I have seen all of my friends and family, I went rally driving at Silverstone and I also went to a spa where these little fish nibbled on my feet which was weird and it tickled! My best friend is getting married next week and I am a bridesmaid so I will be heading to Portsmouth for the wedding. See if you can find it on a map, I’ll give you a clue; it’s in the South.

Guess what? Our Pull Tab program made it into the newspaper! I have copied the article below for you to read and I’m also attaching the link for the article in LoHud paper (July 8th). Well done! 🙂
The lady from Ronald McDonald House has also received the photos and is asking for the video so I will keep checking the website for you in case our photos are up there.
Enjoy the rest of your summer….
Keep writing to me, I enjoy reading your comments. Tatiana, I’m very sorry to hear about your cousin 🙁 Give my wishes to your family. Kayla, I never knew you were quite the fisherwoman!! Rebecca, I hope you are settled in Puerto Rico and have made some friends. The rest of you, I’m glad you’re having a terrific summer 🙂
Ms. Brady

Class project will benefit sick children

SOUTH ORANGETOWN: Students at Tappan Zee Elementary collected 556,880 pull tabs from cans during a yearlong collection. They were collected for The Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley at the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla. The Ronald McDonald pull tab project assists in providing a home away from home for families of critically ill or traumatically injured children. It serves families from Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Sullivan, Putnam, Duchess, Fairfield, and Ulster counties. The project was organized by third-grade teacher Claire Brady and her class. Ronald McDonald House Special Events Coordinator Janine Fiala awarded each of Brady’s students with a special certificate of achievement.
