Today we talked about the importance of using adjectives in our writing to paint a clear picture with our words. If our writing is not descriptive, our readers may get confused when reading our work or picture something completely different.

Tonight, we want you to practice using adjectives in your writing.

Here is your challenge: Pick a scene or an object you want to describe. Write a couple of sentences to describe your object or scene without saying exactly what it is.

Our job as readers will be to try and figure out what you are describing.
