I didn’t have to tell my sister Maria that we where doing Division with Remainders.
I explained it to my babysitter Ms.Brady ๐
George, you are supposed to explain using your words what you learned today. Make sure you can explain the process to someone else as this helps it make more sense to you. We will go over it again tomorrow.
i explained it to my brother and i went on speeling city
i ment to say spelling city
I explained it to my babysitter.I went on spelling city.
First she put the total, and then divided the total in 3 groups. Next she put x’s in each circle but 2 were left over. Ms.Brady put 4 x’s in each circle. The answer is 4r2.
mrs. Brady did an example for us. she did 14 divided by 3. she put x’s into three groups and she marked the groups untill she got very close to 14. the rule in division is that every group has to have an even number. the left over x’s she put outside the groups and the answer was 4 remainder 2.
the vdieo was slow and choppy on this computer.
I showed my mom & went on spelling city. ๐
hi Erin
I’m doing this on my iPad
I’m gonna go now bye…
i showed my mom & went on spelling city
We divided 14 into 3 areas because we were dividing by three. We then placed in each area a check until we were able to do it evenly. We had 2 reminder.
We check by mutiplying 3 by 4(which is what is in each area) equal 12 and add 2 which we had left over giving us 14. Answer is correct. Bye everyone.
Ms.Brady needed to do 14 divide by 3 but she couldn’t. So she put the dots into groups and left out the remainders. And so the answer was 4r2.
I showed this to my dad and I went on to Spelling City! ๐
I showed the video to my dad. Ms.Brady was trying to to do 14 divide by 3 but you can’t do it there was 4 in each group but in 2 groups there was 5 so you have to take the 2 out and the 2 become remainders.

I explained to my mom. she told me that 3 does not go into 14 evenly so you have to see what times 3 is cloese to 14. it is 4 that is 12. 2 more will make it 14 so you have a remander of 2. thanks mom
