Hello,
I hope you had a good weekend. I cannot believe we are coming to the end of March! In ELA we are trying to finish up our nonfiction posters and in math we are finishing our unit on division. Remember to watch the newscast to see what else we have been doing… Tatiana, CJ and Erin we hope you are feeling better. 🙁

Blog Challenge:
In the book Holes, Stanley has just arrived at Camp Green Lake. The camp is not quite what he expected. What do you predict is going to happen at the camp? How would you feel if you were Stanley?

    I would feel like this if I were Stanley. I would feel upset because it said camp green lake but it had no green grass our lake.

    I predict that the other kids would tease him about his size. I would feel extremely unhappy because do you think you would be happy if you digged a hole in the middle of no where and be thirsty for 18 months I think the answer is NO.

    I would feel so so angry and unhappy because everyday he has to wake up at 4:00 in the the morning to dig holes in the middle of no where. I think the other kids would be mean to him because of his size.

    Hi Zoe,
    I would really HATE being Stanley because he has to get up at 4:00, has no water for 18 MONTHS and has to dig holes.
    I would REALLY hate being Stanley.

    I predict… that Stanley will not like being at this camp being that it is the middle of nowhere but may also think it is better then being at jail. If Stanley had chosen jail he would be inside most of the time and not be outside.

    If I was Stanley I would be scared because since Stanley is nice and all the other kids are bad. They all had a choice of going to camp greenlake or jail and sice he is nice they would be mean to him and also he would be very thirsty and hungry.

    I think he is going to have the worst time of his life at the camp, I think they are going to give him the worst time ever. With his luck he might even get bit by a yellow spotted lizard. I hope not. I would be so scared, I might even try to run, but I still do not want to take any chances of getting bit by a yellow spotted lizard :?; :evil

    If I was Stanley I would be scared of a yellow spotted lizard 😥 I predict Stanley will eventually want to go to jail instead of Camp Green Lake.

    I predict that stanley is not going to like it there at Camp Greenlake. He might even run for it!

    If i was stanley i would run for it when the person isnt looking. I would not want to get bit by a yellow spotted lizard because i would die! i would really be scared.

    Nice report Jack :mrgreen: . I think that Stanley is going to make a new friend and if I were Stanley I would be thinking, ” You call this camp!!! When does the bus come back, I want to go to jail now!!! ” That is my report. 😎

    I would think that Stanley would be frustrated because he had to dig a hole 5 feet deep every day

    I think he is going to get attached by lizards and rattle snakes. I would not be happy if I were Stanley.
