June Word of the Month: Reflection

Look how we have grown!
Reflection is the willingness to learn about yourself. What have I achieved and what else do I need to do?

Assembly Read Aloud:

31JNlNhoafL._AC_US160_The OK Book by Amy Krouse Rosenthal

OK is turned on its side, upside down, and right side up to show that being OK can really be quite great. Whether OK personifies an OK skipper, an OK climber, an OK lightning bug catcher, or an OK whatever there is to experience, ok is an OK place to be. And being OK just may lead to the discovery of what makes one great.

Bear Mountain Zoo

We had so much fun at the Bear Mountain Zoo! We saw bears, coyotes, a fox with three legs, a hawk, a bald eagle, and more! We learned lots! It was a great day!

Recycling Center Field Trip!

We had so much fun going to the recycling center today! We learned so much about recycling and how to take care of our environment. We also saw how the recycling center works and got to play games. It was a great trip!

Gardening at WOS!

On Thursday, we got our first opportunity to work in the WOS garden! We did some weeding and got to plant radishes! Then we all took a chance watering our radishes and some lettuce other students planted. We’re keeping track of all of the growth we see in our plant journals back in the classroom. So feel free to ask your children questions!
