    • Our class is off to a great start in this area. All of our Marshmallow Challenge groups worked well together. When groups encountered difficulties they found ways to make compromises or at least move forward and not become stuck. Also, when we reflected on how well our groups worked together, students were honest about their personal involvement, and they identified ways to improve their own actions in group activities. Now, let’s see if students can follow through with their verbal ideas.

  1. I think students should try to pay more attention to the lessons and try to participate as much as they can to become smarter so they can be more successful in life.

  2. I think students can have a more effective learning if everyone listened to what was asked to do and made it their goal to focus on learning. It would help if everyone tried their best to do something and they would soonley achieve it.

    • Vivian I agree with you because if everyone listened it would be so much better. They will achieve sonnet or later if they listen.

  3. I think students should speak up if they have an idea or question, so either learn more or you may end up teaching someone else.

    • Good point, Catherine. Individuals can have a difficult time listening and speaking up. Speaking up at an appropriate time and in an appropriate way can lead to a more effective learning environment than having people speak up whenever they have the urge. Forming ideas and questioning on one’s own is always welcome in an open learning environment.

  4. I think students should help one another if they are struggling. It will help them understand the information the teacher is presenting.

  5. We can focus on learning more if we don’t talk while you are teaching and pay attention in class.this will help make are learning effective in a good way.

  6. We can focus on learning more if we don’t talk while you are teaching and pay attention in class.this will help make are learning better.

    • Ahhh…this sounds wonderful, Emma. If we extend this to include not talking when one of you is talking, I think the learning environment would be even more respectful and effective.

  7. I think if the students and the teacher get along and cooperate and take turns talking then I think that will create a effective classroom

  8. if students dont interupt while the teacher is talking( which i have a habit of doing.trying to stop.) it may be easyer to hear the teacher

  9. I agree with Ailish an Vivian. I think that if everyone put there best effort and pried in all of there work they can achieve more goals. I also think if the whole class cooperates and be more of a team it would make a much more effective class

  10. To have an effective classroom I think everyone should participate. Also everyone should listen to one another and everyone should try their best.

  11. I think that if we all stay focused on our goals and treat each other how we would like too be treated, the class room will be a very focused environment. (Minus the drums)
