Tappan Zee High School hosted their third annual TZ Palooza on Friday! The event is an outdoor music festival led by both students and staff.

TZ Palooza was first founded in 2021 when senior Toby Stone developed the idea as his Senior Seminar project. He worked alongside TZHS Social Studies teacher Julianne Quinn to organize the entire show and it has since become a TZ tradition. “It is a great example of students working together with guidance from the faculty and administration to create an opportunity to highlight many of our talented students. Each year we have also had faculty members perform, which the students also love. This year, Mr. Matulac, Ms. Quinn, Mr. Popp and Mr. Donovan all made appearances as guest performers with our students. It has become such a great experience and it is a tradition that we hope to continue for many years,” said TZHS Principal Rudy Arietta.

In addition to TZ Palooza, TZHS held their annual Wellness Fair on Friday, led by TZHS School Prevention Counselor Annie Scott, and members of the TZHS National Art Honor Society drew caricature portraits and henna designs.
