Congratulations to South Orangetown Middle School eighth grader Jovanni M., who was honored by the Sons of Italy Rockland Lodge 2176 on Wednesday evening for excellence and achievement in the study of Italian language and culture!
SOMS World Language teacher Christina Nilson noted that Jovanni has consistently demonstrated great enthusiasm for studying the Italian language. “From the first day that I met him, it was clear that Jovanni loved Italian and wanted to learn as much as he could. He is such a hard-working and dedicated student.”
