Is it possible to put math and reading together in a meaningful way and have fun doing it? You bet it is!
This week Mrs. Kuhn, Mrs. Schaefer and Mrs. Bolte’s students will read, Only One by Marc Harshman.
This book is centered around a county fair and features inspiring, delightful illustrations that show how single things can combine to make something unique, new and utterly wondrous.
Together students will explore how the pages alike and form additional ideas of what single things can make a whole!
After brainstorming, students will illustrate their thinking and group share!
