The students and staff at W.O.S. started the day by sharing a moment of silence in remembrance of Patriot Day, which was yesterday, September 11. Ms. Beglin spoke briefly about the events and heroic actions that transpired that day. First graders led the school in the Pledge of Allegiance. Mrs. White introduced the book 14 Cows for America, which would be shared in each of the classrooms. Then we shared a moment of silence to remember those whose lives were lost. We closed with an important reminder on Patriot Day and every day, “Be good to one another and take care of one another.”
