Congratulations to Tappan Zee High School musicians Lois Kim, Sarah Mesibov and Mia Pakola, who were selected for the 2019 New York State School Music Association All-State Ensembles! Lois (Viola) was selected for the Symphonic Orchestra, Sarah (Soprano I) will perform with the Mixed Chorus and Mia (Violin) was selected for the String Orchestra. All will perform in the 84th Annual NYSSMA Winter Conference, December 5-8, in Rochester.
“All-State Ensembles represent the highest level of musicianship of students in the entire state of New York,” noted TZHS Orchestra Teacher Jonathan Rossi. “This achievement is the culmination of these musicians’ many years of dedication to, and hard work for, their art.”
