Allison Reda with faculty

Allison Reda, December Student of the Month
Allison is the complete package: A strong student, varsity athlete, and contributing member of our school and the broader community.  With a quiet and humble confidence, she holds a leadership position in the school’s chapter of Interact, as well as a leadership position in her church. Through both these involvements Allison has worked both locally and traveled to do her part in giving to those less fortunate.

Allison is also a leader on the court, playing volleyball year-round for the school’s varsity team and a travel team. When speaking of her love for volleyball, Allison emphasizes the value placed on teamwork in order to be successful in the game. In addition to the sport, she appreciates the camaraderie and earned her team’s Sportsmanship Award. She trains to compete in an annual triathlon and was thrilled to place third in her age group this year. The same dedication Allison gives to her involvements extends to the classroom. She is a strong student who works hard to achieve her own personal best, making her a great example of what it means to be a Dutchman!

Pat Castellano with family

Patrick Castellano, January Student of the Month
Patrick is a caring spirit who has contributed greatly to his school and community. A good deal of his community service has been devoted to helping the elderly by preparing and delivering food though Meals on Wheels, and providing companionship as a volunteer at a retirement home. Additionally, Patrick has worked with children though the Buddy Ball program and has served as a tutoring volunteer through both high school honor societies and outside of school to help children in need.

As a leader, Patrick is vice president of the senior class and captain of the varsity cross country team. He was also selected to participate in the Boys’ State Leadership program. Patrick is an outstanding three-season runner, excelling in mid-distance events; he has received All State, All League, and section honors as a runner. An excellent student, he has earned a 101+ GPA while taking many of the most challenging course offered. Patrick is a humble, respectful, and friendly young man with an unlimited future.

Allison Lupi Student of the Month

Katrina Lupi, February Student of the Month
Katrina is a hardworking and community-minded young woman. She has excelled in academics and achieved high honor roll throughout her high school years. She intends to study nursing in college and will bring her intelligence and eye for detail to her studies.

Katrina has demonstrated dedication to her school and community with her involvement in a plethora of activities with the common goal of helping others. She is a member of the Science Honor Society, president of the Science Olympiad, vice president of the Youth United Way, and a member of the Peer Leadership program. As an active member of the Leo Club, Katrina has participated in many activities, including breakfast runs for the homeless, the Apple Fest fundraiser, and various other projects. In her spare time, Katrina enjoys working as a pottery assistant at Rockland Center for the Arts.
