ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SOMS STUDENTS
SOMS 8th grade students, Jeannie Granahan & Alex Poppe are organizing a drive to assist the efforts of the Wordwide Relief Alliance. We will have a collection box available in the main lobby TODAY. Please see attached information for priority needs. WORLDWIDE RELIEF ALLIANCE
SAVE THE DATE! The 2nd Annual SOMS Stem Challenge is scheduled for Saturday, November 14th. Registration and more information are now available on the SOMS website.
Mr. Yassky’s Music Explore 7 is meeting today period 7. Be sure to bring your ear buds!
The Spanish club and the Art club will be meeting after school today in the cafeteria. Spanish club please note the change in day for this meeting.

Robotics club will be meeting after school in room 180.
Sojourn will be meeting after school today in room 230 until 4pm.
The next meeting of the Health and Fitness club will after school in Room 238.
There will a mandatory meeting tomorrow for the NJHS Executive members. The meeting will be in room 237 after school. If you are unable to attend please let Ms. Condon or Mrs. Fagan know prior to the meeting.
Italian club will be meeting after school tomorrow in room 233.

Student Council will be meeting after school tomorrow in room 228.
Girls modified soccer party will be after school tomorrow in room 230. Please have a ride home by 4 and bring your uniform.
Go Green Scrapbooking Club will be meeting after school Thursday in room 323. Please bring your pictures and scrapbooks. New members are always welcome! See Ms. Wood for a permission slip in room 323.
Elections for Student Council delegates will be held on Nov. 10th. A completed petition form is required to run. Petition forms are from Mr. Anderson in room 228. Petitions are due back to Mr. Anderson by Friday.

The Actors’ Information Meeting for Once Upon a Mattress will be held in the SOMS Auditorium on November 24th from 4:00 – 5:00. You may not stay after school to wait for the meeting. You may attend an office hour, but must be with an adult until 4 pm. We will discuss the show, the audition process, and our expectations for rehearsals and behavior. Please make every effort to attend this meeting if you are planning on auditioning. **This meeting is NOT for those interested in joining a crew.
