SOMS Had a Great Opening Day!

SOMS welcomed back 761 students! Our new 6th grade students had a wonderful day exploring their new school. Our 7^th and 8^th grade students were excited to see their friends and new teachers. All students attended grade level assemblies in which our “3 Bs” and the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) were discussed. “THANK YOU” to all of the SOMS Staff for supporting our students and making their first day a success.  THANK YOU to the members of SOMS PTA for facilitating the purchase of locker organizers, supplies and spirit wear. SOMS is off to a great start and we look forward to watching all of our students grow and learn throughout this school year.
