One of our seventh grade students, Olivia Steger, participated in StuyHacks, a city-wide high school hackathon run by Stuyvesant High School Computer Science students this past weekend. Olivia’s team won the best beginner hack award by building a Google Chrome browser extension that automatically saved highlighted sections of words on a page to a personal notebook. As a result of winning this hackathon, Olivia was invited to apply for a hackathon in San Francisco with 500 other programmers from around the world. Great job, Olivia!
