ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SOMS STUDENTS
The 2nd Annual SOMS Stem Challenge is scheduled for next Saturday! Registration and more information is now available on the SOMS website.
7th and 8th grade quarter one explore classes and 8th grade study hall ends tomorrow. The new quarter starts Monday. 7th grade class lists are hanging up outside the library and 8th grade class listed are hanging up outside the guidance office.
Boys soccer uniforms should be returned as soon as possible.
Go Green Scrapbooking Club will be meeting after school in room 323. Please bring your pictures and scrapbooks. New members are always welcome! See Ms. Wood for a permission slip in room 323.
The School Store will be open tomorrow during all lunch periods.
Any boys interested in the Boys’ Varsity Swim Team, there will be a mandatory meeting tomorrow at 3:30 in room 807 at TZHS. The shuttle to the high school will be available.
Elections for Student Council delegates will be held on Tuesday. A completed petition form is required to run. Petition forms are from Mr. Anderson in room 228. Petitions are due back to Mr. Anderson by tomorrow.
The next SADD club meeting will be after school on Tuesday in room 329. Please see Mrs. Shaw if you have any questions. New members are always welcome.
The Actors’ Information Meeting for Once Upon a Mattress will be held in the SOMS Auditorium on November 24th from 4:00 – 5:00. You may not stay after school to wait for the meeting. You may attend an office hour, but must be with an adult until 4 pm. We will discuss the show, the audition process, and our expectations for rehearsals and behavior. Please make every effort to attend this meeting if you are planning on auditioning. **This meeting is NOT for those interested in joining a crew.
