ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SOMS STUDENTS
ATTENTION 8th GRADE STUDENTS – The Washington Trip fundraising packets are now past due. Please return to Mr. Scherer or Mr. Sullivan ASAP!
There will be a full NJHS meeting after school in the auditorium. All members are required to attend. If you are unable to attend please let Ms. Condon or Mrs. Fagan know prior to the meeting.
The next meeting of the SOMS American Idol Club will be after school today.
The first meeting of the yearbook club is after school in room 228. Permission slips are available in the main office.
Are you interested in 3D Printing, engineering and bringing your ideas to life? Then come to the first digital media club meeting after school tomorrow in Room 180. If you have questions, please reach out to Mr. Eckert. Be sure to have a signed permission slip turned in to the main office.
The Spanish club will be meeting after school tomorrow in room 232.
The Math club will be having its next meeting tomorrow in room 324.
French club will meet tomorrow after-school. It is open to all students. If you would like to get a permission slip to come, please see Madame Spatz. We will elect our officers at tomorrow’s meeting.
The robotics club will be meeting on October 20th after school in room 180. Be sure to have a signed permission slip turned in to the main office.
There will be a Modified Ice Hockey meeting on October 21st in room 152 at 3:30. All that are interested in playing Ice Hockey this year must attend. Thank you.
The Actors’ Information Meeting for Once Upon a Mattress will be held in the SOMS Auditorium on November 24th from 4:00 – 5:00. You may not stay after school to wait for the meeting. You may attend an office hour, but must be with an adult until 4 pm. We will discuss the show, the audition process, and our expectations for rehearsals and behavior. Please make every effort to attend this meeting if you are planning on auditioning. **This meeting is NOT for those interested in joining a crew.
