String students from the South Orangetown Middle School gathered to perform music for students, faculty, and staff on September 11, 2015. Taking time from their busy schedules, students met after school for rehearsal of Antonin Dvorak’s theme from the second movement of Symphony 9, The New World. This is one of several community service events the students in the music program participate in throughout the year.
