Cycle Day 3 |
We will be having a locker cleanout Today, March 31st for the students to throw out unwanted items from their lockers. Homeroom teachers and all teachers on Hall Duty during homeroom, please encourage the students to take home any extra clothing and clean out their lockers before the break. Library books may be brought up to the library to be returned.
Read for the Rockland Boulders Record Participants…Remember to return your first and second slip of recorded minutes in on Wednesday, April 12th when we come back from vacation!
The Social Awareness and Multicultural Clubs along with the Principal’s Committee and GSTA will be having a joint meeting on Thursday, April 13 after school in room 232. We are looking for students to share their thoughts about what is working, and where we can improve our SOMS community for the entire student body. It is a chance to hear all voices and ensure that every student feels safe, comfortable, and included at SOMS. One of the most powerful tools we have is voice, and we want to hear yours!
Debate Date! Our next Debate Club meeting is Thursday 4/13/23 in the SOMS Library at 3pm. Be ready to debate about dress codes.
7th Grade students applying to join the SOMS NJHS are reminded that their completed application is due the week we return from break. Those students who are applying are encouraged to recheck the Google Classroom site now and make sure they have no questions or concerns… if they do, they should speak to Mrs. Beckmann or Mr. Goldstein this week before break starts. All community service should be completed by next Saturday, April 8th and the completed packet is due by 3PM Friday, April 14th.
