Today is day one of the NYS ELA Exam, please make sure your student brings their fully charged chrome book today and tomorrow.
Today is Autism Awareness Day and the SOMS NJHS and Student Council members would like to thank everyone who wore blue in support. It is estimated that about 1% of the world’s population has autism spectrum disorder – over 75,000,000 people. Show your support and lets make SOMS a sea of blue on Wednesday!
The first meeting of the Drama club has been moved to Thursday April 20th from 3-4 pm in the chorus room. We will be discussing out production, auditions, and dates, IF you have any questions please email Ms. Peña-Carney
Mrs. Henry’s ELA afterschool institutes is meeting Today Arpil 19th to review for the ELA state test.
The SADD club will meet on Today April 19th.
The next meeting of the Spanish Club will take place Today, April 19th after school in Doctora Solomon’s room. Don’t forget that tomorrow, April 19th is also the LAST day permission slips and money will be accepted for the Spanish Club trip to Noches de Colombia! Please see Doctora right away if you need a new permission slip and menu!
French club will meet on Today at 3pm. Come and participate in April’s fun activities!
Yearbook sales have been extended to Thursday, May 18th! One more month to purchase your yearbook in order for it to arrive for your peers to sign. Click here for purchasing information. Yearbooks will be distributed during school, the week of June 12th.
