The Social Awareness and Multicultural Clubs along with the Principal’s Committee and GSTA will be having a joint meeting Today, April 13 after school in room 232. We are looking for students to share their thoughts about what is working, and where we can improve our SOMS community for the entire student body. It is a chance to hear all voices and ensure that every student feels safe, comfortable, and included at SOMS. One of the most powerful tools we have is voice, and we want to hear yours!
Debate Date! Our next Debate Club meeting is Today 4/13/23 in the SOMS Library at 3pm. Be ready to debate about dress codes.
The Yearbook Club will meet Today April 13th to pick a cover design.

7th Grade students applying to join the SOMS NJHS are reminded that their completed application is due by 3PM Tomorrow, April 14th.

The first meeting of the Drama club will be Tuesday, April 18th from 3-4 pm in the chorus room. We will be discussing out production, auditions, and dates, IF you have any questions please email Ms. Peña-Carney
The SADD club will meet on Wednesday April 19th.
Mrs. Henry’s ELA afterschool institutes is meeting Tuesday April 18th and Wednesday the 19th to review for the ELA state test.
Please note that Q3 ends on Friday, April 14th and Q4 will begin on Monday, April 17th. 7th and 8th grade Q3 Explores will also end on April 14th and the new Q4 7th and 8th grade Explores will begin on Monday, April 17th as well. The 7th grade new Q4 Explore lists will be hanging outside the library and the 8th grade new Q4 Explore lists will be hanging outside of the Guidance office.
