A reminder to any 7th grade students planning to apply to join NJHS next year, teacher recommendations must be submitted by TOMORROW March 17th. All recommendations should be requested by email using the format and link that were provided- as teacher recommendations are received, they are marked off in Google Classroom.

Did you know that Tuesday March 21st is World Down Syndrome Day?  To raise awareness and support for people with Downs Syndrome, the Down Syndrome Association encourages people to “Rock Your Socks” and wear colorful or mismatched socks on each foot on March 21st. The SOMS NJHS supports this effort and will be looking out for students and staff who wear mis-matched socks on that day!

The NJHS needs your help to fill Dr. Coreys office with cans of food! All students are reminded that donations should be brought to lunch and given to the teacher in charge. Your donations help to feed the hungry here in Rockland and may win you a Super Homework Pass! For every can of food you donate you will get an entry in a drawing for a super homework pass.
