SOMS Announcements

STAR will meet in Room 180 today, Wednesday, May 23^rd, Thursday, May 24^th and Thursday, May 31^st.  It will meet in the Library Tuesday, May 29^th and Wednesday, May 30^th.

All Music Department students going on the trip today, Wednesday, May 23^rd are reminded to bring a bag lunch and snacks.  Also, string bags to hold belongings may be brought into the theater.

CLUBS:

Attention Italian Club Members:  Today, Wednesday, May 23^rd is Pasta Day 2 after school in Room 179.  Please confirm with Mrs. Avantifiori if you are attending.

There is a Digital Media Club Meeting today, Wednesday, May 23^rd in Room 154.

Debate Club will meet on Thursday, May 24^th.

There will be an informational meeting regarding the leadership program for the 18/19 school year for all new 7^th grade NJHS members during the second half of 5^th period lunch Friday, May 25^th. All members must attend. If you cannot attend please come see Ms. Condon prior to the meeting.

All current 8th grade NJHS members, please hand in your last 10 hours of community service to Ms. Condon by Friday, June 1st.  Hour sheets are located outside Rm 237 or on the NJHS website.  If you have any questions please ask Ms. Condon prior to the due date.

ATHLETICS:

SOMS Intramural Bowling will be meeting on select dates in May at 3:30 pm at Montvale Lanes.  An information letter can be picked up in the Main Office.  All students with or without bowling experience are welcome to join.  You may attend one or as many of the sessions as you like.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Sabino in the Main Office at SOMS or contact Coach Carbonetto at TZHS via e-mail at lcarbonetto@socsd.org.
