Congratulations to eighth-grader Jonathan M., South Orangetown Middle School’s New York Jets Upstander of the week! Jonathan embodies the characteristics of an Upstander as a student who is always positive, humble and always willing to work with everyone. He is also a determined athlete and leader who sets a good example for others on and off the field.
This is the third school year that South Orangetown Middle School has participated in the New York Jets and Stomp Out Bullying’s Upstander of the Week Program, which aims to reduce and prevent bullying nationwide. Students recognized receive a t-shirt, two tickets to a Jets home game and a parking pass. #JetsTackleBullying
