Seventh-grader Julia M. has stood out as someone who is willing to welcome others and help in whatever way she can. This New York Jets Upstander of the Week comes to class smiling and is always happy to assist her classmates and teachers. This is the second school year that South Orangetown Middle School has participated in the New York Jets and Stomp Out Bullying’s Upstander of the Week program, which aims to reduce and prevent bullying nationwide.
