Earlier this week we had a visit from Mrs. Gunther, the children’s librarian at the Palisades Library (and Mr. Gunther’s mom). We talked about the different libraries in South Orangetown and the variety of things to do and borrow. Children who live in Palisades, Tappan, and Blauvelt received forms to fill out and take to their local libraries to sign up for a library card of their own. Mrs. Gunther did not have Orangeburg applications, but told us to go and see Miss Angela to get one.
In the comments section below, please leave a message telling your classmates if you have a library card of your own, which town it is in, and what your favorite book or type of book you enjoy borrowing from the library. Whenever you leave a comment, be sure to only use your first name OR your initials!
Happy reading!
I have a library card from the Orangeburg Library.
I got my card from the Tappan Library.
Congratulations, girls! I have been to both of these libraries and they have so many treasures inside. Keep up the great reading!
I have my library card since I was 2. I love to visit Ms. Nancy at the Tappan Library.
Wow, Alexis! Good for you! Isn’t Miss Nancy so nice (and really talented at picking great books for kids to read!)?
yes she is, I use to go with my mom to the mommy and me classes when I was a baby.
