What better way to celebrate a day about love than spend the morning reading (something that we love to do) with our friends and family?!  From 9:00 to 11:00 everyone in Room 66 was reading: alone, with a friend, with a parent or grandparent, or both!  Everyone got comfy and found a spot to set up shop.  Shoes came off.  Blankets and pillows were assembled and then the reading began.

Valentine's Day: Rockland Read In 2013

Earlier in the week, the children carefully designed and decorated their Valentine mailboxes to hold all of their special cards and gifts.

Finally, they were ready to deliver their goodies to one another.

Everyone looked through their bags and found lots of cool cards, pencils, stickers, notepads, and a moustache!

We moustache YOU a question: Will you be our valentine?

Happy Valentine's Day!
