We are all familiar with Google Doodles, Google’s temporary designs incorporating people, places, holidays and events all over the world. You now have a chance to design and code your own Google logo for Earth Day (which is on Saturday, April 22nd). This is a great way to share your ideas about celebrating the natural world and protecting the planet’s animals and natural environment. You can click on the doodle below to watch a video to learn more and get started with Scratch.
The activity offers a fun introduction to block-based coding. Watch the videos at the bottom of the page to learn more about ways that you can customize your logo. Click on Starter Project to begin. You will be directed to Scratch to begin. Click the blue “See Inside” button to begin.
