Today I was out of the classroom continuing to learn more about neurodevelopment as part of our school district's work with Gene Thompson Grove. The focus of her work with us is on the eight constructs that make up each of our learning profiles. Our profiles help us to identify and strengthen our strengths as well as use our strengths to compensate for areas of weakness.
CLICK HERE to investigate your learning profile. Then click on "…here on my own" followed by "or as a guest" (so that you don't need to enter any information). Your Learner Sketch will be created by sorting through statements and moving them to the left if they describe you, to the right if they do not, or leaving them in the middle. At the end, you will receive a report identifying your learner profile with strengths, weaknesses, and ideas for modifications and interventions to support you. It is quick, easy, and really interesting! Give it a try!
What are your strengths? What are some neurodevelopmental strengths that you see in your children?
