Before the break, the scientists in Room 66 began studying mealworms.  They carefully observe the mealworms and record what they see, predict, create drawings and diagrams, and write down their questions in their science journals. 







This week we returned to school and discovered something different amongst the mealworms.  Here is a zoom in to see them in greater detail:

By the end of the day on Friday, there were 4 of these things in all.  Some people predict that they are cocoons.  Other people think they are babies.  A few children think that they will turn into moths. 



Can you spot all 4?  We are curious to see what happens to the rest of the mealworms.
