New Year’s Celebration (a little late!)

Before the vacation, the children (along with parents and siblings) rang in the new year together during our New Year’s celebration. Many people wore pajamas, slippers, robes, and comfy clothes in order to be comfortable as we stayed up late, waiting for the new year to arrive. We kept busy in order to pass the time, doing a variety of activities. There were four centers that everyone cycled through:
Snowflake making and New Year’s resolutions
Hot chocolate and a story
Snowglobe craft
Gingerbread houses

They were all lots of fun! After everyone went to each of the centers, Ms. Stern made a toast for the new year, we counted down to “midnight” made some noise with noisemakers and poppers, and finally enjoyed a variety of treats.
