Today was picture day!  There were lots of very spiffy looking kids in Room 66!

Ms. Stern read a story called Picture Perfect?  It was written by second graders and was all about the different things that could ruin someone’s picture on picture day.  Then we brainstormed our own ideas and everyone began drawing and writing about the things that could go wrong.  We laughed at all of the silly, funny, and anything BUT picture perfect ideas.

At 10:40, we headed down to the gym where we held our envelopes and ID cards.  Everyone waited very patiently while our classmates had their photos taken.  Joseph’s mom was there to help, along with a few other moms.

Our hair got combed and our clothes tidied.

There was even a mirror for us to look in before we had our turn!  After we took our individual pictures, we lined up in size order for our class picture.

Some kids sat in chairs, some stood, and some got to stand on the risers.  We took a few pictures and then came back to the classroom.
