Do you think Sam and his father have a relationship? Why?

In the book “The Trumpet Swan” by F.B White, I notice that Sam and his father don’t have a great relationship. One reason is Sam always wonder off in the woods by him self and that leads to he likes to be by him self, also the autor picked Canada for the setting because his father tells him not to wonder off by himself, but he ignores him. In conclusion in the book “The Trumpet Swan” by F.B White you can tell Sam and his father don’t have a good relationship.

In the book “The Trumpet swan” by E.B white, I notice that Sam and his dad dose not have a good relationship. I think this because Sam did not tell his dad about the swan with her eggs. also another reason is when his dad tells him stuff like don’t go to the swamp and he did it any way.
