Rockland Road Runners Scholarship opportunity for cross-country and track seniors

The Rockland Road Runners will award two $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors who attend school in Rockland County. One male and one female student will be selected.

 

To be eligible, students must fit the following criteria:

  • Participate on the cross-country and/or track team;
  • Volunteer for at least one Rockland Road Runners race by April 2014 (races listed below);
    • Thanksgiving Day 5-Mile Turkey Trot: November 28, 2013.
    • George Wodicka Hook Half-Marathon & Hope 5K: April 6, 2014.
  • Possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and;
  • Plan to attend college in the Fall 2014.

 

In addition, students are required to submit a letter of recommendation from a non-relative authority figure and to write a response to questions provided by our scholarship committee.

Winter Track 2013 2014 Uniform Order Forms

Dear Parents,

            We are very excited for the start of the 2013 winter track season.    We areproviding athletes the option to order there own racing shorts and tops that they will be able to keep.  Some athletes may have ordered racing shorts in previous seasons.  In that case, you do NOT have to order a new pair as we will be racing in the same shorts.

 

Please print out the order form and fill out the bottom of the form and  return to Coach Ryan by November 20th.
