Sixth grade will begin the pillow making unit by first creating their own personal design using fabric markers on one side, and fabric of their choice on the opposite side. They will learn how to thread and knot their needle, measure, and pin the two fabrics together. From there, the students will launch their running stitch, stuff and close the pillow on their own, and enjoy many years of pride and comfort.
