Welcome to Family and Consumer Science
This class is designed to welcome grades 6th & 7th into a comfortable setting in which they will be challenged with Life Skills. They may expand on those skills which they have fundamental understanding of, or learn how to cook, sew, and work on cooperative projects for the first time. They will exercise decision making, and time management skills as well as participate in small group and whole class learning. Through their hands-on projects, students will feel increased self-esteem and confidence in their daily life.
