How are you feeling today?
School is underway and many students commonly experience anxiety. Anxiety is a feeling of mingled dread and apprehension about the future without specific cause for the fear. These feelings and fears create stress for children that in turn create roadblocks for school attendance, making friends and learning. Teaching children deep breathing and relaxation exercises can help students cope with anxiety and stress.
