Please view these projects the next time you come to Cottage Lane. Here is a glimpse of what’s on display:
Selecting “winners” from these amazing entries was no easy task. The CLS Staff completed ballots and the top “Peeps” in History winners were: “Peeps” to America by Gabi P., The “Peeps” of Oz by Grace L., “Peep”stock by Tori H. A special thank you to Mrs. Cancro for donating the stuffed animal peeps for prizes.
All the peeps projects were absolutely wonderful!! From the American revolution, to the Wizard of Oz (which was very good). It’s great coming into school everyday and looking at each masterpiece. I’m going to miss doing this!
Noah, I too enjoy stopping in the hallway and seeing them. I find a new detail every day that makes me smile.
It is awesome how the all the peep projects are lighting up the halls. It makes me so happy to think that every single peep project was once just a cardboard box and a dozen peeps, and now are true works of art.
It is crazy how many entries that are on display. It shows how much students love history. Everybody’s project was so creative. I enjoyed making the control panel for Apollo 11. The Wizard of Peeps had great details too.
I am going to miss not doing this next year! I think that all of the entries were really creative. While I was making mine with my friend, “The ‘Peeptles’ on the Ed Sullivan Show”, I ate about 3 1/2 containers of a dozen peeps! They make a great addition to the hallways and I enjoy seeing them every day. I didn’t stop working on mine until every detail was perfect.
I really enjoyed learning that there is only one blurry direct photograph of Neil Armstrong actually on the Moon. All the famous shots are of his fellow spaceman Buzz Aldrin. I also loved how everybody was so creative with their projects. From the War of Gettysburg to the Wizard of Oz, their were so many events that happened in a lifetime. I loved the project and I hope to be motivated to do it next year!
It’s amazing to see that we can take some old peeps, and turn them into masterpieces. All the peeps projects were bursting with creativity and history! from the Beetles to the landing of the moon all the peep projects were great! This year’s peep competition was a hit!
I cant wait to bring mine in tomorrow. All ofthe PEEPS projects are going be great.
