Cottage Lane's first challenge of the year is called "Out of the Box." What can you make with a cardboard box? Use your imagination and creativity to design and create a masterpiece. The box can be as small as a jewelry box to as large as a refrigerator box. No boxes larger than 4ft x 4ft x 6ft will be accepted. All boxes must be brought to Mrs. McBride's room on or before October 25th. Products will be judged on originality, durability, practicality, and creativity. There will be three categories: single entry, team entry, and class entry. All entries must be clearly identified with the following information on an index card: Title, Name(s), Teacher(s), and one sentence explaining your "Out of the Box" masterpiece. Before you get started be sure to watch the video below. To take center stage, make sure you communicate clearly, collaborate, think critically and plan creatively.
Ms. Early's Out of the Box Challenge
I am going to try and do it. With some creative ideas and powerful thoughts I am sure ill be able to do it.
I’m excited for the challenge, because I’m a person that doesn’t look at something and see what it is, I see what it could be. This challenge makes me think of the book Junkyard Wonders by Patricia Polacco. Have you ever read it?
