Welcome to 4th Grade!

Dear Families,

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! I am so excited to meet and work with students and families both in person and from a distance. This school year is going to look very different than in the past. I know that everyone’s lives have been turned upside down these past six months and that we are all navigating some very unique circumstances. I am here to support you in any way that I can and I know that by working together, we will find balance and success. We are in this together and our main goals are the mental and physical health of your children.

The first week of school is virtual for all students. We will meet as a class via Zoom at 9:30am on Tuesday, September 8th.

One way to prepare for the start of school is to set up a designated learning space for your student so that he/she can be ready to focus and take responsibility for being an engaged learner. Please make sure your children have paper/notebook, and a pencil. The first week will primarily focus on getting to know each other as well as lessons about online learning and expectations. We will be utilizing our Google Classroom and getting to know each other while beginning to establish routines through interaction and community building activities. We are going to make it a great year!

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out!

Kindly,
Mrs. Sainz
