Hello Families,
We hope that you’re all smiling and doing well! We are missing being in school and we hope that we can all be back together real soon.

In the meantime, it is important that each of you continue to grow as fourth graders.
Here are some useful websites that you can use that will keep the learning ongoing.
Just as we’ve been doing throughout the school year, you can use Dreambox to continue to strengthen your math skills. Just click on the icon to the right, and login.
In addition, we have set up each of you with a Raz-Kids account. This site is personalized to you and will give you access to fiction and nonfiction books at your independent reading level. First you will listen to the book, then read it on your own and finally answer comprehension questions based on the text. The Raz-Kids level will appear higher, however it correlates to your classroom reading level. Type in “jsainz” and our classroom will appear. We have assigned each of you a username and password. Please have a parent email jsainz@socsd for that information.

Below, you will find educational games and activities to keep your minds sharp! We will be adding to this list weekly and don’t forget that you can always check out our class math page for more online games!

Cyberchase
A handful of activities and videos to strengthen problem solving skills

The Curiosity Workshop

Interactive Sites for Education

Keep working hard, as you have been doing in school and we can’t wait to see you soon!

Take Care,
Mrs. Sainz & Mr. C
