SOCSD afforded an amazing opportunity for students in grades 5-8. Malala Yousafzai spoke to our students about the importance of education and especially for girls. I’am amazed how malala at 10 years old she said on the blog Girls have the right to go to school and I was amazed because at soch young she spoc on a blog agenste the talyband.
Seeing Malala step on stage and talk about what she had to go through is amazing. It was a honor being in the same room as the Nobel Peace prize winner.
I am amazed how Malala fights for schools rights and she started fighting for schools at 11 years old and she started with a blog and now look where she is in life.
Malala was selfless when she saw that the taliban has targeted her. Someone told her that if you search up your name on google it will show if the taliban has targeted you. She instead worried about her dad. It was amazing to hear her speak๐๐โบ๐
Malala is an inspiration. She got shot shot in the face at 15 and would never give up for fighting for girls education, to be able to learn.
I am amazed that when she was 11 and she never gave up on her dreams to have education for her and other girls
I think it is amazing that Malala stood up for rights for schools at 11 years old! Also Malala is still in college and Malala has been on the news. And also she started with a blog and now look where she went in life.
We have had the most refugee’s in the world since world war 2. Including Malala!
I love how strong she feels about education, it makes me so grateful to have a good education.
When you hear Malala speak you just know she’s important. She has such a beautiful and strong voice. It was an honor being in the same room hearing her talk. What I thought was interesting was when Malala said, I think world war three is coming, but the best way to solve a war is education. I agree and understand.

Malala inspires me so much! She is so strong, independent, happy, giving, and kind! It really means alot to me that I got to see her, even though it was short, it was still meaningful.๐
Meeting Malala was amazing. She is a huge inspiration to me and I look up to her. One thing I learned about her is she would not hurt the taliban in violence when they came to hurt her. Instead she would use her words and tell them what they are doing wrong.
Malala is a huge person and it was really important to me that I got the chance to meet her.
When Malala said she would not hurt the person who shot her when her father suggested hitting him with a shoe she said then i would be just as bad as them. Which thought that was really inspiring.
That she is trying to tell us that we kids have to find our power!
Malala really amazed me by how is so strong, and never gave up. She always stayed strong even when people like the taliban tried to shut her down. ~JAZ~ ๐
I am amazed that Malala was not mad at the person who shot her. And she was not afraid to speak up to the taliban and try to fight for girl’s rights.
I am amazed how at a young age she stood up at the taliban and how she told the world how it felt like to live pakistan.
